The Orchestra is friendly and hard working and gives three concerts a year. We welcome new playing members. The orchestra currently has the following vacancies:

We expect a good standard of orchestral playing; this would typically be a minimum standard equivalent to ABRSM Grade 8 or above for wind players and Grade 6 for strings. If you are intested in joining us please contact the orchestra's chairman or secretary or complete this online form.

Southend Philharmonic Orchestra meets on Tuesdays at 7.30pm at St Margaret's Church Hall, Lime Avenue, Leigh on Sea, Essex

Playing members make a subscription donation which is currently a minimum of £30 per term (with a concessionary rate for unwaged members). You should contact the treasurer for details of different ways you can pay. We encourage UK tax payers to download and complete this gift-aid form.
