The Southend Philharmonic Orchestra was formed in 1945. We celebrated our 65th Birthday by attending our Anniversary Charity Concert. In a "Maestro" style competition local celebrities be helped raise money for a well known local charity by trying their skill at conducting the orchestra.
The music included well known "Proms" favourites.
