As a registered charity, any donations made by tax payers using Gift Aid will enable the Orchestra to reclaim 28p in the pound from the Inland Revenue, effectively increasing the value of your donation without costing you a penny.

Tax payers may also sponsor a non tax payer for membership or other qualifying donations using the attached form. Higher rate tax payers may include the value of their donation made by Gift Aid in their tax return as an allowance against higher rate tax. Gift Aid donations are allowed provided the donor does not receive a benefit greater than 25% of the value of the gift. Further information may be obtained from the Inland Revenue.
